The four reasons you should consider Kiawah River Estates in addition to real estate on Kiawah and Seabrook. One. You get a lot more house for your money and in a gated community that is less transient and more community oriented. Two. One of Kiawah Resort's golf course is right in your backyard. Three. Parking adjacent to best beach in all of the Carolina's is just a few miles away. (the Kiawah Island beach) Four. Enjoy Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island plus be 10 to 15 minutes closer to Historic Charleston.
The 18-hole "Oak Point" course at the Kiawah Island
The Oak Point Golf Club at Kiawah Island Resort is located inside of Kiawah River Estates. Built in 1991 the Clyde Johnston design, was substantially reworked five years back, with Johnston consulting. Highlights include hazards on nearly every hole, alligator sightings, an interesting new par-3 9th and undeniably beautiful par-4 closer that skirts Haulover Creek. The course rating is 73.8 and it has a slope rating of 140 on Bermuda grass. 6,759 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72.
